We live on the property and it is still a working cattle ranch along with the vineyard and winery. You can observe the cattle grazing in the pasture behind our home or they my even graze close to the cabins. We often see deer and a few times a year see wild turkey. The faucet water is rain water so you can’t drink that water but I bring in Primo drinking water that’s available in a premier water dispenser! I just upgraded the bed to a king for the master bedroom but the couch is a pullout and it’s a queen. Plus two fulls up in the loft. We’re on restricted water supply so we only ask you take quick showers please! No dogs allowed Hulu , Netflix, Disney+ included in master bedroom. DVD player in master bedroom and loft , lots of movies provided to cozy up to.

If cooking is your thing the kitchen has a full size range and refrigerator, and is stocked with coffee, sugar, salt, pepper and etc. Maybe you are more interested in having someone else do your cooking, not a problem! For an additional fee, a home cooked lunch/dinner can be provided. Breakfast items will be available in the cabin for you to pick from. There is an outdoor grill and patio table so you can relax outside. The Rustic Udder is only 30 mins or less to some great locations such as, Choctaw Casino Resort, Lake Texoma, Blue River winery, Harbinger brewery, Downtown Durant and McGee Creek State Park. Large walk-in closet also serves as a saferoom from our unpredictable Oklahoma weather. There are two bedrooms on the lower level and three bedrooms upstairs. One of the upstairs bedrooms sports a small built-in cave-bed in addition to a queen size bed. The cave bed is very popular with the children. The master bathroom provides a separate shower/tub combination and a large soaking tub, while upstairs bath has an antique claw foot tub. The cabin sets on approximately 3 acres which provides plenty of parking. The front yard is fenced in. There are also several fruit and pecan trees. Feel free to pick those in season. There is no house phone but we provide a cell phone signal amplifier to assure your contact with the outside world. We also have limited satellite internet. Not too good for streaming but fine for surfing and email etc. We have Direct TV for those addicted to TV.

Family Farm House sits on a small horse, cattle, and chicken farm with lots of friendly cats and dogs. The home is 1800 square feet of living space with 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, fully equipped kitchen and a large gathering area. Master bedroom has a king sized bed and a twin bed with adjoining bath and shower with a separate tub. Bedrooms 2 and 3 have new queen mattresses and a bathroom with shower/tub combination between them. Each bedroom is decorated with an eclectic country theme. The kitchen is complete with everything you need to come, bake, serve, and has dishes and eating utensils. The large gathering room that include 2 couches and chairs. There is cable TV along with board games and books. Dining room is located off of the gathering room. The front porch offers lots of seating and there is a small patio space with a fire pit and smoker/grill. The house sleeps 7 comfortably. You are welcome to bring blow up beds. No pets. We also have 1 full RV hookup that includes 50amp service with water and sewer. It is an additional $35/night with a 2 night minimum stay. The RV hookup is an addition that comes with the rental of the home. We are 5 miles from Tishomingo, the historic capital of the Chickasaw nation. Tishomingo is home to Ol Red, Blake Shelton’s restaurant and gift shop. Family Farm House is 3 miles south from beautiful Blue River where you can swim, fish, kayak or tube. Cabin for up to 4 people located on a 160 acre ranch less than 20 minutes from the Choctaw Casino. The cabin has 1 queen bed in the bedroom and a living/kitchen area with a couch that folds out to a queen size bed. There is a shower and bathroom in the cabin. The bedroom has a stackable washer and dryer for your use. There are 2 small minifridges, one with a freezer in the kitchen. We also have Keurig machine in the cabin. Each room has it's own A/C and they work very well. We have DirectTV and a DVD player (movie library)in the cabin and can be watched on the TV located in the living room. The cabin sits on a large ranch with a 2 acre pond that has large mouth bass and crappie in it. The pond is a catch and release pond. There is a large firepit located in front of the cabin and a horseshoe pit on the side of the cabin. We have a gas grill/stove at the cabin. Beautiful scenery and tons of wildlife to view here. Very private and relaxing place yet close to the Choctaw Casino for restaurants and entertainment. We also have 3 RV spots with water, electric and septic available on the ranch for an extra fee and only available if renting the cabin. The Indian Cabin is a Cozy 2 room cabin with an Indian theme that contains all the luxuries of home with a fully equipped kitchen, including dishes, utensils, cooking pans, coffee mugs, and wine glasses! We provide the basic spices, olive oil, coffee, creamer, and sugar. There is a full size refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker, Keurig, and microwave. Bring your favorite coffee pod and enjoy it sitting on the porch swing overlooking the lake as the Canadian Geese fly in for a landing. There is a TV, DVD player, stereo, games, colors & coloring books, cards, and Dominoes to enjoy as well. The Indian Cabin has an air-conditioner and heater in both rooms with ceiling fans. In the bedroom is a queen bed and in the living room is a full size bed and the and a twin size day bed. It can sleep 5 adults comfortably. Due to the fact that our rates are so reasonable we must charge a $25 per person charge for every person over 4 people. You will have your own secluded hideaway on a private lake approximately 15 acres and a 5 acre pond on the backside of the cabins. There are only three guest cabins and they sit on a peninsula in between the pond and lake. They are surrounded by hedges and trees therefore you cannot see one cabin from the other and you cannot see the cabins from the road, which makes it very private, quiet and peaceful. There is a combination of road and path that goes around the lake, pond and property that is suitable for walking and biking. Feel free to bring bicycles if you want. If you love to fish this is the spot!!! We have THE BEST fishing around! Both our pond and lake are waiting to be fished! Be sure and bring all your fishing gear (poles, reels, tackle, and bait). There are Big Mouth Bass, Perch, Crappie, and Carp - all sizes. Bait suggestions: Spinner baits and top water poppers for late evening and night fishing or early morning fishing. The fish are waiting to jump on your hook! The lake is great for swimming and floating around on. We have paddle boats and a Jon boat with a trolling motor for you to use. There is a sand bar about half way across that you can take chairs to and hang out on. Feel free to bring rafts, canoes, water shoes, beach towels, and water toys. Enjoy grilling steaks or cooking up your catch of the day right on the front porch deck. The BBQ is charcoal (you’ll need to bring). Bring S’mores makings and enjoy roasting marshmallows over the fire in the Fire pit next to the lake. We provide a couple bundles of wood and starter twigs for the fire pit. If it has been raining our wood will be wet. You may want to pick up some dry wood or fire logs and lighter fluid to get our wet wood going and to have more fires. Items to consider bringing: charcoal, lighter fluid, matches, insect repellant, flashlight & batteries, and ice. Fishing Rules: • Enjoy fishing and fish all you want! This lakefront home is the perfect getaway during the COVID-19 shutdown. The lake is still open and you’ll have a private fenced in playground. WalMart and other grocery stores are still open plus WalMart has grocery pickup so you never have to leave your car. Most local restaurants have pickup or delivery services. We recommend McAlester2Go delivery service. This lakefront vacation rental home on 2 1/2 acres is great for large family trips! It has a kitchen, 2 dining areas, living room, theater room, 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms and a half bathroom. The house sleeps 18. If you have pets, a $100 pet cleaning fee is required. There is no WiFi. There is a downstairs master bedroom with a king size bed. The bathroom has double sinks, shower and separate tub. There is also a half bathroom downstairs.
